Phyllis and Summer don’t see eye to eye on what an apology is. I’m your Mom. Yes, you’re supposed to do right by me, Summer retorts. Phyllis wonders why she’s always to blame and why Summer’s not mad at her grandmother. I’m. So. Tired. Phyllis will always fight. But maybe I’m the one who’s had enough!

My Mother wants nothing to do with you, Kyle snarls. Jeremy won’t lose interest. GC’s the perfect place to call home. Vacations don’t last forever. Sooner or later you end up right where you started, Jeremy walks off.

Summer believes her Mom’s trying to help but your actions aren’t helpful. I’ve watched you try to evolve my whole life. I was there for your failed relationships. You always went back to your old ways – things blew up like they have now. I leep hoping, you keep letting me down. I need to protect myself from any more hurt and disappointment. With no further words exchanged, Summer opens the front door, Phyllis exits.

Victor thinks it time to make a deal; you’ve made Tucker sweat. Ashley finds it fascinating – a reminder of how Victor’s mind works. You shouldn’t be talking to me – whatever Tucker does with his company is his business. Leave me out of it, she slams out.

Tucker knows about Devon’s fighting Lily and Jill for Hamilton Winters. Legally, the CW merger is rock solid; odds are it won’t work out in your favour. McCall Unlimited would let you come out on top; especially if you win in court. Seeing his son succeed is what matters to Tucker the most. Our 30 munutes is up. Indeed it is, run the idea by Abby, Tucker hopes to see him soon.

Diane’s delighted to find that Jack’s set up the cabin for their getaway. Everyone, including Kyle thinks they flew off on the jet. No more mention of Jeremy Stark, it’s just you and me, Jack’s rewarded with a kiss. They toast with champagne – to us, before the seniors get sexy.

Back at the penthouse, Devon stuns Abby with the news that Tucker wants to sell him McCall Unlimited. It would be an insurance policy in case the lawsuit doesn’t go his way. But, is he being sincere or trying to manipulate me again?

Abby thinks McCall would be a great backup plan; maybe it’s a great offer. Devon adds that Tucker knows she’d give him good advice.

Tucker stops by the Abbott home to update Ashley; Devon neither accepted or rejected the offer. He’s curious what plans Ashley has for him should he fail. Ashley hasn’t made up her mind but does have a few ideas.

Now in robes, the bottle of champagne done, Jack gets a text; just a work thing. He’s already checked in with security. See? There’s no way we can forget about the Jeremy Stark threat (Diane must have forgotten Jack’s request that they don’t talk about him) We can’t hide from him forever.

This his how Jeremy works, he gets inside your head. Diane would kill him if she thought they could get away with murder – that’s how much she hates him. That’s not an option but together we’ll find a solution, Jack promises.

Jeremy watches as Phyllis drinks a shot of vodka and orders another. I’m well aware of what time it is, she warns Society’s bartender not to look at her like that. Meeting her eyes, Jeremy raises his own glass of booze.

Back at Newman, Victor and Vikki are now certain that Ashley bought Tucker’s debt. Mom’s right, she’s falling for Tucker again. Perhaps she wants him to change.

Tucker finds the power Ashley has over him intoxicating – I think you feel it too, he correctly guesses.
