When Tucker plays hard to get, Ashley lists the reasons he should move in with her (but not share a room) He can see Dom and yes, they have unfinished business. She’s not ready for him to go.

On the patio, Lauren admits to Chris that she’s so mad that Mike’s defending Diane, the ‘monster’. We can’t even grieve for Phyllis together. Chris wouldn’t have chosen this case but she’ll do her job – just like Mike’s doing his.

Inside, Jack confronts Chance. Diane had everything she wanted – why would she throw that away!? Find Stark and you’ll find your murderer! After Sharon and then Chris intercedes, Jack huffs ‘Things aren’t always as they seem’, before storming out.

Sally won’t let Adam beat himself up – Connor means everything to you; he’s kind, smart, funny, just like his father. No sooner has Adam agreed to put his insecurities aside, she admits to being worried their daughter might inherit her worst traits.

Victor wants his sons to bond at McCall instead of competing for Sally. She has you and Adam where she wants you. Nick refuses – focus on the fact that you have a new granddaughter coming instead of these games. Granddaughter? Victor seems surprised.

Nick was mistaken in sharing Adam’s news with his Dad. Yes, he’s excited that Sally’s having a girl – we all are. Once you hold your granddaughter, you’ll fall in love with her. Forget everything else – please, Nick marches out.

I was a terror, stubborn, a pain in the ass, short-tempered – what if she hates me? Sally worries. She’ll be smart and funny as hell – and loved, Adam replies. I already love this little girl. She doesn’t look forward to the Newmans judging/smothering but thinks they should tell Connor.

Sharon understands why Chance is rethinking his career. Actually, this case has changed his mind – people in this town disrespect the law. He’s sick of being yelled at and second-guessed. He’ll do whatever it takes to get to the truth. Phyllis and her family deserve that.

Ashley admits that Tucker pushes buttons she didn’t know she had – maybe we can make it work. No, she’s not trying to stick it to Jack. Think of it as an experiment.

Tucker isn’t stupid – he needs some assurance that Ashley has real feelings for him; that she wants him as much as he wants her. She interrupts his packing with a passionate kiss.

Adam thinks Connor might be confused as to why he and Sally are having a baby yet she’s with Nick. He’ll talk to Chelsea and she’ll talk to Nick about how to handle things with Christian. Bottom line – this little girl will be loved.

Jack isn’t back at CL’s to make trouble, he forgot his tablet on the patio. Eavesdropping as Chance gets a call with unsettling news, Jack asks if it has anything to do with Diane’s case. He’s surprised to hear that Stark’s been found – dead.

My Thoughts: Nick tells Victor to wait until the baby’s here – in ‘a couple of months’?? Sally’s bump is barely noticeable … Odd that with all this talk about Adam handing down bad genetics, he never mentions that his Mother was blind (and that he temporarily lost his sight too) Does Sally even know that Adam stole Faith as an infant? We know it was all over the Internet because Faith was teased at school ….Did Tucker really need to show Ashley proof on his phone that he repaid his debt to her? And why didn’t he have one of those giant ceremonial cheques made up – that would have been hilarious…. Given the extent of his father’s meddling in his kid’s lives and how he’s always resented it, why on earth would Nick be so insistent that Victor accept Sally’s? And if Adam thinks Christian’s going to be confused by Sally having his baby but dating Nick wait til the poor kids finds out that Nick’s not his bio-dad … Vikki is going to be livid when she finds out that Victor not only bought McCall for Adam but is also trying to poach Nick .. If Chance and Sharon hook up, I don’t even know what that’ll make Dom and Aria …. Good news for Diane, if Jeremy’s body’s been found it’s sure to be covered with Phyllis’ DNA. But just to float it out there again, the only way Phyllis comes out of this unscathed is if she’s found stumbling around the park not being able to remember a thing.
