It seems Audra was only catching her breath so she could come up with a few more adjectives to describe Nate. Elena wonders if he’s slept with Vikki yet – or is that the purpose of this trip? He played me with this dream vacation, she feels stupid for trusting him.

Meanwhile, in LA, Vikki and Nate continue to flirt and enjoy being so in sync.

Stark’s dead, we have to pivot, Jack’s frustrated. Mike suggests they now do what they should have done before Stark died – investigate the hell out of him.

Ashley now rants about Jack, yet again, trying to kick her out of her own home. Hearing that she moved Tucker in, Billy’s even more vocally opposed than Jack. We’re talking about Diane, Ashley worries that she could beat these charges and establish herself as queen of our family home and this company – is that what you want!?

Jack’s still waiting to hear back from the forensic accountant. Mike’s subpoenaing Phyllis’ phone records. Starks’ can’t be obtained ‘legally’ – but he has someone looking into that and security footage from cameras around town. We need to focus on proving that the evidence against Diane was planted.

Elena and Audra agree that Vikki’s shameless in getting what she wants but not that Elena’s an idiot. Audra quickly rephrases – you’re a smart woman who now knows that her partner’s been sabotaging their relationship.

Vikki and Nate continue to joke and flirt, flirt and joke.

Vikki’s inspired by Nate’s fresh ideas – it’s intoxicating. Recommending a book she brought along, Nate suggests they go to her room to get it.

When Tucker arrives at Society, Jack updates Mike that Ashley moved him in. His focus is to bring Diane home – but he can’t help but glance over at his sister and new roomie.

As a deflated Elena tells Audra that Nate used to be compassionate and loyal until he became obsessed with corporate power, Vikki and Nate are in making out in bed.

Ashley wants to wake Jack up – do you still have your hotel suite? Yes – shall we? Yes, Jack can see us, they kiss and leave. You could have sold tickets to that, Mike chuckles. Jack’s not laughing – he’ll do everything in his power to save Diane from going to trial.

Nate kisses the top of Vikki’s head as she naps on his chest. Looking at his reflection in the full length mirror beside the bed, he doesn’t seem to like what he sees.

What will you do? Audra asks. Elena might call Nate or fly to LA to catch him and Vikki in the act. She’s now decided it’s time to find JT Hellstrum.

My Thoughts: Gotta admit – I love Tucker and Ashley’s scenes – and will enjoy them taunting Jack (who doesn’t have a funny bone in his body) Tucker’s deadpan sarcasm and his Something About Mary hairdo make me wish we could access the blooper reels. OK, I typed this at the beginning of the show. By the closing credits I was done with Ashley’s shrieking and perplexed as to how exactly her going to Tucker’s suite could possibly wake Jack up. He can’t see you at the GCAC. If you insist on having creepy revenge-sex to wake up your brother, have it at the house where he might catch you – or pull your bra out from beneath the cushions. Or sit in a wet spot… Where’s all this media coverage Ashley’s so bent out of shape about? … I’ve never been to LA but I’m pretty sure it has more than one outdoor cafe (Vikki and Nate seem to be at the same one Ally and Diane/Jack, Phyllis went to) ‘What a day’, Jack huffs as he joins Mike at Society. I guess he forgets his day just started and that he was stopping for coffee on his way into work.
