Still on the patio, Adam and Chelsea have checked out the school on their phones. Yes, she can work remotely – it’ll be a sacrifice for both of us but our son comes first.
In the park, Connor asks Billy if his parents will let him go away to school. He’s sorry – you’ll miss my Mom if we move. Yes, he’ll miss Connor too but he’ll call and visit (with Johnny) You’re a bright kid with a bright future, he promises.
Chance leaves Sharon at CL’s to talk to Chelsea. Yes, she’s heard of this school. Connor wants to leave – he doesn’t want to end up like me. Sharon’s supportive – your family is moving in a positive direction.
When Billy brings Connor back, Chelsea gives him the good news. Sending him upstairs, she updates Billy that she’ll move in with her Mom. Connor comes first – but she and Billy will miss one another ~kiss~
At CL’s, Daniel ends a call with an excited Lucy. She’s staying for the rest of the summer, he’s delighted to update Sharon.
Lily sings Lucy’s praises before warning Heather about the teen years. She seems happy that Daniel and I have found each other again. Me too, Heather lies; her smile vanishing the second Lily excuses herself to take a work call.
