Victor’s driven Nikki to work and wants to take her for lunch – because he enjoys her company, not to keep tabs on her. Nikki hopes to find an assistant as good as Claire (who doesn’t want to kill her)
At home, Ashley, Jack and Kyle wonder why Tucker’s laying low – is this the quiet before the storm?
Tucker’s not avoiding Audra. If she joins him for breakfast, he’ll update her. The Abbotts haven’t knocked him off his game. Heads have already rolled.
Victor’s off to give Nick and Adam an incentive that will encourage them to work together. As soon as he leaves, Nikki pulls her flask from her desk drawer but makes a call instead. I’m having a hard time, can we meet?
Nick and Adam are at Newman, wondering why Victor wants to see them. Nick doubts they can work together. He’s sure Adam will self-destruct – again.
Glacade’s shareholders will want Tucker’s head on a spike, Ashley’s sure. She’s not over the fight she and Tucker had in Paris. Jack hates that she’s still thinking about it.
Over coffee in the dining room, Tucker tells Audra that he plans to lay low and regroup. This is more a ‘death rattle’ than a ‘hiccup’, she quips. Tucker won’t let the Abbotts win.
Tucker wants his secret weapon (Audra) to find out where Kyle stands. He’s been playing you, she confesses.
Nick’s suspicious of the new and improved man Adam claims to be. We’re capable of pulling together, Adam lists samples – helping Faith, Sally and Sharon. Victor arrives to say that he’s proud of his sons. He has big plans for them while Vikki’s away.
At Society, Nikki sends Victor a text – meet me in an hour. She then thanks her sponsor, Seth, for meeting her. He blames ‘that woman’ for her relapse. Nikki knows her anger makes her want to drink more. Seth wonders why it’s taken her so long to return his calls.
Victor wants his sons to be equal co-CEO’s (under him) Will they accept it or be at each other’s throats already.
Kyle and Jack are left alone to discuss their plan. Tucker claims to no longer be sure about going after Jabot. He wants Kyle’s info before deciding.
