Nick and Vikki chat at Society. How’s Summer? Like a coiled spring. She’s not sure it’s over. Vikki admits she briefly doubted Claire. Cole was her rock. Nick chuckles at her ‘dopey affection’. Admit it. When she does, Nick’s happy for her. Victor appears like a dark cloud – your mother didn’t come home last night.
In Nikki’s suite, the medic assures her that Jack will be OK. Did you take anything? No pills, Nikki tells him that she was just drinking.
Kyle ends a call looking for his Dad when Claire drops by to see if Harrison’s OK. It’s probably best if I didn’t see him. He’s sleeping but Kyle knows Harrison would like to see her. Claire will never be able to forgive herself.
Medic instructs Nikki to make sure Jack doesn’t take anything else; next time he may not be so lucky. A groggy Jack wakes up to ask Nikki what happened. She explains that he passed out after taking pills and drinking. The EMT gave you something to counteract it. It was touch and go for a bit. What the hell were you thinking?! she wants to know.
Nick wonders if there’s any chance Jordan survived and got to Mom. She’s drinking again, Victor informs. He gets a text – Security knows where she is. Without further word, he exits.
Kyle could feel guilty for not having heard Jordan take them – but he knows it’s Jordan’s fault. Karma found her, Claire’s relieved but scared it’s not true. She took us both so everyone would believe I did it. It did look that way, Kyle admits. Harrison races over – Claire! You’re alright! ~hug~ And here’s Summer.
Jack’s proud when Nikki announces that she’s going to rehab. And she’s sorry for the terrible things she said last night. Jack would do anything to stop her from drinking herself to death. Thank you, Nikki takes his hand. And that’s how Victor finds them. What’s going on here?
It’s good to see you’re back, Summer says awkwardly. When Harrison asks Claire to read to him, she diplomatically defers to Summer – Your Mom wants to do it. She’ll read to him some other time. You’re happy that Claire’s back? Harrison chirps at his Mom. Yes, let’s go. That leaves Kyle to tell Claire that Harrison’s her biggest fast. Claire gushes about what great parents he and Summer are.
