Claire and Holden’s kissing is interrupted by a text – Malcolm’s ready for visitors. But, since it’s not urgent, there’s time for sex.
Nikki truly thought Victor would agree to present a united front for Nick’s sake. Instead, he lashed out. Jack encourages her to go visit Summer in Milan – I’ll take over as Nick’s sponsor. Nikki can’t thank her ‘dearest friend’ enough.
Phyllis tells Lauren that she convinced Matt that she was his friend. I couldn’t let him leave the room – so I knocked him out and tied him up. Good God! Lauren’s aghast. Phyllis blames ‘that bitch’, Patty.
Matt can’t bring himself to hate Phyllis – what she said made sense (and explains why Audra was scared of him and why Noah/Nick attacked him) When he again decides to leave town, Patty can think of one good reason he shouldn’t.
Jack doesn’t want to betray Nick’s anonymity and will understand if he’d rather have another sponsor. We’re both lucky to have you in our lives, Nikki again pouts about her marriage. When Kyle returns from his call, she thanks Jack for opening her eyes wider and with a kiss on the cheek leaves him to tell Kyle that his friend’s going through a hard time ‘and I just made things worse’.
I should have taken that bitch out! Phyllis rants about Patty’s plan to use Matt as leverage. SHE wants to be the one to hand him over (to prove she’s rehabilitated) She’s trying to take credit for MY idea!!
