Holden’s a good person – but Claire did find out some things about what he and Audra did in LA. The short version is, Audra stole money – Holden helped her. The art dealer disappeared.
After Audra leaves, Sally asks Adam why he’s there. He wanted to share his side of the story before Sally made any decisions. Billy didn’t tell you? He laid down the law about me seeing Ruby, Adam tattles.
Adam accused me of going to London on vacation, Billy gripes – and while I’m there, he shows up to check on Sally and Ruby, unannounced. Ruby’s MY daughter, NOT his. Jack wants Billy to be the bigger man (as you’ve always been) Billy then tells Jack that he thinks Kyle was in London to sabotage Vibrante.
Vibrante won’t last long if Diane has anything to say about it. When Kyle wonders why they have to waste their time going after Vibrante, Diane’s suspicious that he’s not interested in taking down a Newman company. What am I missing???
In the middle of Society, Victoria and Claire have a hushed talk about the possibility that Holden killed the art dealer. Holden’s not a murderer, Claire whispers – and people can change. Victoria suggests he might be distancing himself from Claire to protect her. You think he loves me? Claire asks.
Billy showed up at my house – unannounced, Adam’s indignant. Like you just showed up here? Sally points out. Billy’s dealing with a lot, she defends her husband. Of course she told Billy that Adam visited – we don’t keep secrets. If you think I’m trying to replace Eva too, you’re dead wrong! Adam protests.
Which college buddy did Kyle visit? Billy adds that Kyle couldn’t get out of that London pub fast enough; and it wouldn’t be the first time he’s gone rogue. Hmmm – come to think of it, Jack did see Kyle and Nikki having an ‘intense conversation’. The brothers share a guilty look as Diane and Kyle come home.
Exchanging ‘I love you’s’ with his brother, Billy leaves Jack to waste no time sharing his suspicions that Kyle’s trying to undermine Vibrante. I was jet-lagged, Kyle defends himself. Jack makes himself clear – we’re not meddling with Vibrante; Nikki’s company will rise or fall on its own. Diane bites her tongue.
