Running into Sally at the cafe, Victoria couldn’t be more supportive. And since she’s being so lovely, Sally hopes she’s not crossing the line in asking Victoria to reach out to Billy and admit she was a little hard on him.

Phyllis arrives at CL’s as an excited Sharon ends a call with Mariah. She’s meeting with her team to discuss her release (though it has to be approved by the Judge) Phyllis is happy for Sharon (but visibly sad, clearly thinking about Summer)

At the club, Nikki confronts Victor about having Matt stay on the ranch property. Have you lost your damn mind!?

Adam warns Matt that if he goes off script, his father’s deal is off. Matt’s been thinking – this can’t happen – the whole situation has changed.

What happens at the ranch and who stays there is none of your business, Victor tells Nikki. She’s worried about her grandchildren – what if Matt becomes ‘murderous’ again? Hearing that the charges against Matt have been dropped, Nikki suspects Victor bribed somebody. WHY would you let that man walk free?

Pointing his finger, Adam doesn’t like the look on Matt’s face – are you going to be a problem again? I have resting ‘I’m going to be a problem again’ face? Matt thinks Adam ‘high strung’; he owes Sienna for giving him a concussion (by hitting him over the head) Matt then explains why Victor’s plan won’t work – he met Cane when he first came to town.

Billy helped steal my father’s life-work, Victoria also reminds that Sally has Newman Media. She then softens again, realizing that Sally’s just thinking of the kids. You’re a considerate step-parent. She wishes nothing but the best for her and Billy.

Our kids centre us, Phyllis would do anything to have hers back. When Sharon marvels at the change in their dynamic, Phyllis adds; Martin Laurent was our Ian Ward – we’re still recovering.

No, Matt didn’t mention trying to blow the Newmans up (he didn’t remember it) Cane didn’t say much – he was fighting with Phyllis. Matt thinks his conscience may be ‘over-corrected’; he’s not even comfortable lying to a man to get something he wants. You really are the opposite of your former self, Adam decides. Appreciating what he thinks is a compliment, Matt’s willing to give it a shot.

Victor no longer needs to share his plans with Nikki. ‘Damn right I shut you out’. Maybe I’ll shut YOU out (and not tell you about my morning with Nick) Is he OK? Victor asks.

Surprised to find Victoria and Sally together, Adam introduces Matt as a family friend he’s showing around town. After Sally leaves, Victoria asks what Matt’s doing here -him being out isn’t safe for anyone.

Back at CL’s, Sharon admits that she still has nightmares about the experiments Martin subjected them to. Phyllis does too – no matter what happens going forward, we’re bonded forever.Sharon believes she’ll find a way to get Daniel and Summer back.
