Meeting Kyle at the cafe, Jack’s relieved to have been saved from another bite of Patty’s godawful quiche. Kyle followed the doctor to a place on Powers Lake, on the outskirts of town.
Diane tells Markham that she’s looking forward to her first therapy session.
At the club, Claire tells her Mom that she just missed Victor – she invited him to brunch hoping Nikki would come. She fears she’s made things worse.
Nikki’s googling risks of the surgery she might need when there’s a knock at the door. Assuming it’s Nate, she’s surprised to find Victor standing there.
Victoria wants her parents back together more than anyone else but her pleas fall on deaf ears. Claire was shut down too – then made things worse by telling Victor about Nikki’s headaches.
Victor goes up to Nikki’s suite – they agree that Claire was trying to set them up. She (and the other kids) are upset. He came by to ask about her headaches. Nothing to worry about, Nikki claims. Victor’s quite concerned – it’s serious.

Jack reports that Markham made it seem like he was late for an appointment. Kyle had a hard time keeping up. Diane’s doctor supposedly had an emergency. Markham stonewalled him. It’s an isolated, gated estate with cameras everywhere, Kyle reports. It’s Dr Markham’s private home.
Jack tells Kyle that Markham won’t give him the name of the doctor who’s treating Diane. And he claims that Patty’s cured. Fishy.
