Adam has no idea why the journal says what it does. Dylan wouldn’t put anything past Victor, but isn’t sure how it’s possible. That leaves Adam wonder if Chelsea believes him.
Back at the club, Natalie doesn’t want to discuss the Newmans. Now it’s time to discuss her appetite and a zombie themed escape room. And then a helicopter ride to a pop-up restaurant in Chicago. Natalie goes to change. Kevin will wait in the dining room.
Well…. Chelsea knows that Adam was determined to get back to her and Connor – she doubted him for a minute and is sorry she let Victor get into her head. Nothing will come between us ever again, she vows.
After the cemetery, Sharon, Dylan and the kids are at the park. Nick flashes back to singing Cassie a lullaby as she lay in her hospital bed (Sharon weeping on the other side) Sharing a memory of tea parties, Noah asks his distracted Dad to talk to them. This time last year, Nick had a wife and baby on the way. He’d to anything to hold them again. Mariah flashes Sharon a look.
Faith takes her Daddy’s hand – Sage and Christian are in heaven with Cassie. Noah agrees. Sharon talks about Cassie’s heart. She’d love the family being together, Nick chokes out. Mariah wishes there was more they could to for him. Nick has the love of his kids. I love you all so much, he hugs Summer (followed by Noah and Mariah) Sharon watches as Dylan goes after Nick.
Dr Gates is worried about Victor; Adam’s all over the news. Victor grumbles about Nick’s visit – he accused me. My family thinks I’m capable of such evil.
Mike agrees that this has Victor written all over it – but it won’t be easy to prove Adam’s innocence. However, it was Victor who got Adam out of prison (more than once) He’s about control, Mike’s sure he’ll swoop in to save Adam. Chelsea disagrees – he’d send Adam to hell.
Still at the park, Faith wishes she could cheer her Daddy up. Sully’s the way to make him happy, she chirps.
On a park bench, Dylan promises to seperate fact and fiction regarding the charges against Adam. Nick may have to accept that his wife kept a secret and that his brother’s a murderer. How did Victor know Sage kept a journal (which was filled with details of their lives that no one should have known)
Hearing that Adam found out about Victor manipulating Dr Gates and went to poke the bear, Mike thinks Adam not his smartest client. I’m your only client, Adam reminds. He’s off to Walworth to confront his Father. No, Victor will know he’s gotten to you. Mike will take it from here.
At the club, Summer notes that Mariah seems upset. No, you’re not Cassie, she agrees. We love you for who you are, Noah says. When Kevin enters, Summer lectures him on not sharing his Passkey profits with Mariah. She and Noah leave the two to chat. Kevin asks Mariah what she was going to tell him last time they were here – lay it on me. Mariah gives him a kiss.
As across the restaurant, Noah and Summer watch Mariah kiss Kevin (who’s confused) Mariah is too – let’s forget about it. Kevin presses for answers on what’s going on. Cassie was so amazing, Mariah feels messed up. I haunted Sharon. You’re there for her now – she loves you, Kevin says. Mariah just wants to sit on a ratty couch, eat Chinese from the box and watch TV. Can we go do that?
Faith sits Nick down – you have to hold Sully. Please, she whines. How can Nick say no? As Dylan sits beside Sharon, Sully’s handed over. Faith insists that he recognizes his name. Tell me you know who you are, Nick plays along.
