In his office (at NE) Victor informs Vikki that Ashley will be her superior. Take her to lunch and make nice. Vikki bites back her protest to meekly say ‘consider it done’. Victor then expresses his disappointment over her poor decisions (including JT; do you even know what he was doing in Poland?) Vikki’s surprised – her Dad and JT got along just fine last night.
JT finally finds what he’s looking for; the key fits a drawer on the chess table. When Nikki interrupts, JT conveniently finds Katie’s stuffed bunny. Nikki then cautiously tells JT that he’s being overly critically of Vikki. Irritated and in denial, JT leaves disappointed (that he wasn’t able to complete his mission)
Devon follows when Hilary goes over to give the Ashby’s a piece of her mind. Insulted and indignant, Lily and Cane won’t be lectured on parenting. Lily pities Hilary’s future child. It was YOU! You cancelled my doctor’s appointment! Hilary accuses Lily (who shuts up as all stare at her)
There’s a camera watching JT as he returns to Vikki’s to open mail and scowl at a hearing notice (for custody of his kids with Mac) Billy then shows up to pick up the kids. Hearing they’re out with Hannah still, he decides to stick around and wait – and annoy JT further.
Ashley joins Vikki at the club to be ‘perfectly frank’; she admires her competitiveness until it becomes a weakness. There’s a difference between a personal and professional threat. Perhaps Vikki’s the same little girl who tried to break up Ashley and Victor’s marriage. Denying it, Vikki wonders what happened between Ashley and Jack (and is basically told it’s none of her business) Back and forth it goes – Vikki’s watching Ashley. Please do – watch and learn, Ashley smiles and asks the waiter for menus.
When Lily lies, Hilary demands she ‘woman up’ and admit she called to cancel her appointment. Devon doesn’t think so – Lily knows his mind is made up. Hilary’s left to huff n puff when Cane takes Lily downstairs for lunch.
JT and Billy continue to butt heads at Vikki’s. You and Victor are holding her back, JT complains. Seeing the custody paperwork, Billy wonders why Mac thinks him a deadbeat/unfit Father. When Vikki comes home, Billy claims he and JT were just chatting. And after he leaves, JT lashes out at Vikki (about her lies and telling her Mom that he’s too critical of her)
Seated with Cane in the clubs’ dining room, Lily admits that she cancelled Hilary’s appointment (hoping to bide enough time until Hilary slips in her ‘changed woman’ act)
