Jack asks Jill to sit down and attempt a civil conversation. He was furious at Kyle too – but he was drunk and trying to find out who he is. Haven’t you been there? Jill describes the anguish and heartache Kyle’s actions caused her. Jack finally calms Jill down with talk of how devastated he and Kyle were to have lost their Abbott heritage and likens it to Jill’s need to confirm Neil Fenmore as her Father) As they head off for drinks, Jack pauses to heave a sigh of relief.
At HWG, Hilary and Nate are glaring at one another was Devon replies to a text from Kyle (apparently they’re conspiring to reconnect Mariah and Tessa) Why did you invite Nate here? Hilary’s not thrilled to hear that Devon’s taking his cousin to a recording session later. Across the room, Nate’s happy to hear that Mariah and Tessa don’t get along with Hilary either. Lily’s surprised to hear that Devon’s having second thoughts about Neil’s deal with Digi Real.
Refusing to walk away from this challenge, Victor asks Vikki not to call the police. He won’t take Paul or one of his guys. Victor must do this alone; finish the war JT started. Agreeing not to call anyone, a worried Vikki gives her Dad a hug goodbye then picks up her phone to start typing as soon as he leaves.
Everyone in the office takes notice when Lily questions Devon backing away from their Dad’s deal. He’s worried Neil acted on insider information. Would Digi Real have abandoned Newman so quickly if Neil hadn’t jumped to replace them? And we’re off, Mariah mutters as Hilary jumps in to side with Devon. Nate sides with Lily. The men step aside to let Lily and Hilary argue. You’re not even Devon’s wife, Lily shuts Hilary up.
At the club, Jack smirks as Nikki and Jill debate the ‘monstrosity’/’art’ installed in Chancellor Park. He then explains why Kyle dug up Philip’s gave. Nikki’s thrilled to hear that Jack might be Philip’s son – Kay would have willed the company to him if she knew. Jill reminds that she left it to Victor; he sold it to me. Getting a text alerting her that Victor’s meeting JT, Nikki gasps ‘OMG!” and rushes out.
Lily and Hilary continue to argue without interference until Devon puts a stop to it. He then gets a text from Kyle. Lying that something needs checking on the rooftop, Devon sends Mariah and Tessa up to handle it, then replies to Kyle – they’re on their way up.
In Vikki’s office, Nikki agrees that Victor’s not fully recovered. If JT doesn’t kill Victor, his body could just give out on him.
On the rooftop, Tessa and Mariah check the set – they can’t see what equipment is missing. Hearing the word ‘robbery’, Kyle tells them he and Devon have a plan – walk this way please.
Kyle leads Mariah and Tessa to a couple of reserved seats to watch a horror movie. You might be so scared you’ll have to hold hands. He’s also arranged wine and popcorn. We’ve been set up, the girls are left to agree.
