Mariah’s at the station to chat with her Mom (and fish for any new details) It’s too early to make a statement, Rey hides in Paul’s office. Sharon goes in to ask her own questions) Rey confides that the best forensics team are going over everything – that’s great right? Yeah, great, Sharon’s less enthused.

Nick and Phyllis are flirting at CL’s when Sharon marches into her ‘place of business’ to see Nick with this wrecking ball. Mariah comes along to referee and
Rey watches from the entrance as Sharon loudly lashes out at Phyllis. After Rey leads Sharon out, Mariah chats with Ester (who wants to film a segment at the park) Mariah clearly isn’t interested but will get back to her on it.

Upstairs in Rey’s apartment, Sharon gets some support and comforting words.

Downstairs, Tessa did everything she could to get rid of Nick and Phyllis before Sharon got there. Kyle jokes – came for the coffee, stayed for the catfight. Tessa and Mariah then rave about Lola’s new lunch delivery menus. She plans to expand to dinners and catering. Tessa and Mariah offer to help.

At Dark Horse, Nick doesn’t want his kids to grow up watching them fight. Cut Sharon loose, Phyllis says – give her what she wants. she doesn’t get to tell you who you can have in your life.

Still up at his place, Rey delivers a sappy speech that compares nurturing a plant to a relationship. You need a partner who also gives 100%. As they’re about to kiss, both back away with apologies. Rey gets a call – there’s a break in the case. Wish me luck. Sharon’s left to mutter that she’s the one who needs luck.

About to go on their date, Kyle offers to bankroll Lola’s business. No, she’d rather manage on her own but will take Kyle’s jacket and a kiss.

Inside, Mariah suggests that she and Tessa live together.

At home, Sharon tunes in to Rey’s press conference at the park (now a crime scene) Vikki, Phyllis and Nikki are equally stunned.
