yes, Rey’s received the info he asked of Nikki; it’s Victor he’s unable to reach. That’s because he’s in Singapore (a trip planned long before the park became a crime scene). Of course Nikki can provide proof. The cat n mouse continues but Rey’s unable to intimidate Nikki, who keeps her cool until she chats with Sharon on her way out. Rey’s not asking anyone about JT.

Encouraged to get closer to Rey, Sharon manipulates him into inviting her over that evening for a serious discussion.

When Tessa comes home, Mariah shows off the organized closet. I packed some of your stuff in this duffeL. That’s fine but Tessa’s NOT happy to hear that the old mattress has been replaced (and taken to the dumpster) You had no right! Tessa runs out in tears.

At the club, Mariah confides what happened with Tessa; having no idea what she did wrong. Hearing Mariah threw a mattress out (to replace it with a new one) Kyle surprises her with good (though incorrect) feedback. Tessa doesn’t want charity, he concludes, just like Lola. You’re not an idiot, Mariah has to admit.

At the station, Vikki goes on the offense; Rey should have notified JT’s loved ones before going public. Rey’s sorry and hopes closure will help. Vikki sits to explain giving JT $700 to escape town. No one else heard us. The only thing that’s changed is the police no longer looking for JT. Rey can’t tell Vikki anything except that he’s sure JT’s dead. Gotta play this one by the book. After Vikki leaves Rey makes a call; – same story but there’s a tell; she asked about the watch, then the DNA – she knew there’d be no body.

Kyle and Lola are enjoying their date at the club; chatting about Mariah moving in with Tessa – and how Lola will compete. Kyle’s optimistic about Phyllis – and needs Lola’s help with something.

Nick, Nikki and Vikki discuss Rey questioning them. Nikki’s sure Victor had nothing to do with JT’s death – trust me. Well, Rey’s determined to arrest a Newman, Nick insists they unite as a family and protect ourselves.

Rey answers his apartment buzzer; hello? hello? The woman downstairs grins as she continues to push the button.

Mariah comes home to find a bottle of wine, glasses and an ‘I’m sorry I flipped out’ note.
