At the club, Avery’s on the phone with Paul – why hasn’t Joe been arrested? She knows the lab results don’t point to him – redo the tests; it’s flawed. She expects more – Joe will pay for it, even if she needs to take care of it herself (she looks up the staircase)

Dylan agrees that Avery may be on a dangerous path, but what can he do? Sharon knows that he wouldn’t be able to forgive himself if he didn’t help – and he may be the only one who can. Keep an eye on her, Sharon implores. Dylan nods.

There IS no ‘we’, Cane shrugs Lily off – he’s done – there’s no do overs. Lily whines – we have too much history… Cane’s done – he doesn’t give a damn anymore. As he marches off, Lily cries.

Next: That’s a nice suit, Adam teases – You going to a costume party later? No, Nick’s just reporting for duty to the business that has HIS name on the building … Sharon visits Victor in an interrogation room. Well, Victor says … You want to come at me? Do it, Dylan challenges Joe – but you will never hurt Avery again (Paul stands behind him)

My Thoughts: Is it my TV? What’s wrong with Sage’s lips? Is it make up to cover something or chapped lips? The hair department isn’t doing her any favours either …. Shouldn’t an unconscious drunk person be on her side (in case she vomits and chokes?) And why dangle a bottle of an alcoholic’s favourite booze in her face? Neil should have dumped it. If a stint in rehab didn’t work, why would a doctor’s scolding and meetings stop Nikki? … Sharon’s really upping her game; using this baby 8 months before it’s even born. I’d like to think she was sincere about helping Avery, but I’m not convinced. That said, with JC having already finished shooting, Avery’s clearly no threat to Sharon and Dylan’s relationship. Sharon and Avery have more in common than being rape victims, they’ve shared two men; brothers There, the similarities end – unless Avery IS losing her mind. Someone’s about to be killed off – prepare yourselves for another whodunit … Was it really necessary for Neil to tell Nick, over the phone no less, that his Mom almost died??? … For all her talk that Avery needs to talk to someone, has Sharon spoken to a doctor since she dumped her meds? Surely there must be repercussions to that? It would be irresponsible to depict someone with bi-polar disorder being more mentally stable WITHOUT medication. Perhaps it’s one of those hysterical pregnancies, like Ashley had after miscarrying .. I can’t think of anyone less qualified to provide counseling than Sharon (and Avery better than most how destructive Sharon can be when ‘acting out’ and off her meds – as she is now) … Kudos to Lily for being completely honest with Cane. But did she really expect him to hug it out and forget about it? Joe hasn’t been punched in the face by anyone for a couple of days so he’s due to be clocked by Cane … At least the Ashby’s won’t engage in a bitter custody battle; the y’ve already handed the kids over to be raised by a nanny by the looks of it … It’ll serve Mike right if Cane turns to Lauren. They don’t really have any chemistry, but then chemistry’s been lacking with both couples for a while now. It’s time for a shake up. Speaking of no chemistry – Summer and Kyle have none. Let’s hope Summer doesn’t get pregnant. The most interesting couple today was Nikki and Neil; but I can’t see that going anywhere; Nikki isn’t exactly Neil’s type. He likes em a lot younger, which is why he was once engaged to Vikki. That said, I wouldn’t put it past the writers. Shock and awe doesn’t have to be derived from life threatening disaster … Odd that Neil went to the club to pick up take out for Nikki, yet didn’t interact with Cane and Lily (who were airing their dirty laundry in the middle of the restaurant)
