Nikki and Phyllis high five on their good job. Kevin arrives to eye a large framed photo of Delia, and reports that the elevator was out (but is fixed now) And there’s no problem in the electrical room. After Kev goes to call Victor with an update, Phyllis gets a bad vibe (remembering the last time she took the stairs instead of the elevator – it cost her a year of her life)

Victor and Jack both end calls – no sign of Paragon at Jabot or NE; Kevin reports no problem in the electrical room. Jack’s going home to change into his costume (which might scare Victor) Shiver me timbers, Victor jokes.

The gloved hands are once again busy – this time on a laptop in Victor’s office – overriding the security system.

Coming through the revolving door, Devon rants about Cane – updating Collin that he’s lying (and probably was the one to kidnap Hilary in BVI) Collin accuses Lily of not defending Cane because she’s eager to jump into Joe’s bed. Wrong – Lily’s not defending Cane because she doesn’t believe him.

After Paul tells him not to leave town, Cane’s stunned when Neil believes him. No one should be blaming you for any of this, he says.

Still at GCM, Hilary makes her way to a doctor – can you please help me? As Dr Sketchy turns, Hilary’s scream is muffled (and then he injects her in the neck to sedate her)

Next: Dylan joins Cane at the club’s bar – what if I told you that I don’t think you’re lying about Hilary? … I bid you adieu, Dr Sketchy is eager to leave the boathouse. Neil stops him – he and Gwen want to know why he’s leaving town so fast…. Tonight is going to be a special night for the Newman family, Nikki says to Nick (both at the gala in costumes)

My Thoughts: Oh no – no, no, no… Is there any doubt that tragedy will strike tonight’s gala? Will it be fire? (my friend Chip may be right on this one) It’s not like the building will collapse, and we haven’t had a good ole fire since .. well, since Adam ran up to the penthouse to save Billy. Wasn’t THAT Newman Towers also? And since Victor’s restaurant is ‘Top of The Towers’, are we really going to have yet another fire in that building? Confusing – way too many ‘towers’ attached to the Newman name …. Why did Adam want Chelsea in hospital scrubs? Does he want to play doctor? I guess security is out the window at GCM again – scrubs are easily accessible and fired doctors can walk around sedating screaming women .. Remind me again why Nikki forgave Victor and he’s no longer a trigger for her drinking (though the real trigger would probably be hosting a gala in which everyone’s DRINKING) .. Can you breath on your own? Chelsea asks – like the doctor’s would remove Adam’s breathing tubes and leave him in Chelsea’s capable hands (perhaps they thought it was OK because she’s in scrubs)
