Chelsea!! Chelsea!! Crawling through flames, Adam comes face to face with the devil; who knocks him out.

The top 5 or so floors of NE now engulfed in flames, Dylan sends Vikki, Chelsea and Nikki to the chopper. Luca asks for Marisa to go too. Noah agrees – you need to go – now. Luca pulls Marisa in for a kiss. We’ll be together soon my love, he say (as Noah can only watch) She’ll be safe, Luca lets Noah know that he saw them together – and it’ll be the last time.

My ribs, Ben can’t tell if it’s an injury or the air getting thinner. You should have gone, he tells Ashley – who tries to remain optimistic.

Flames now visible out the window, Jack and Phyllis are stunned when the door is yanked open. Patty!?

Billy and Victor find Adam on the stairs, unconscious.

At GCM, Faith looks lonely as families are reunited. She sits with Johnny as Mariah and Kevin watch (holding Katie) As Lily watches the twins, Vikki races in to sweep Katie from Mariah’s arms. Faith brings Connor over, then runs into Nikki’s arms. Chelsea is reunited with Connor. As Victor bends over Adam, Paul talks to Dylan on the walkie talkie. Ben and Ashley hold hands. Noah and Abby are still in the ballroom – the fire only growing.

Next: Mom!!! Mom!!!! Can you hear me? Abby creeps around with a flashlight…. Ben and Ashley kiss. A door explodes as the helicopter takes off from the burning building.

My Thoughts: Not long ago, Kevin would have slammed his laptop shut when someone came to look at it. Begs the question – what happened to his fantasy fiction writing as Plato Spheres? Was the only purpose to cast suspicion on him having something to do with shenanigans at the cabin? … Why would Mike even have the key to Adam’s handcuffs? He’s his lawyer, not a police officer. Or was it the same inept cop who managed to lose him in the lobby of Newman Towers? How did Adam get his hands on a firefighter outfit? … Why didn’t the adults carrying kids down the stairs try to cover their faces? Or tell the older kids to cover their own faces with their sleeves at least? … Odd that Chris hung up with a polite and casual ‘thank you for the information’ when learning her lunatic sister in law was on the loose. She didn’t even bother to ask what Patty was last seen wearing (nor did she hurry to put out an APB)…. Uh – I’m no doctor like you Ben, but I’d say if the pain is one side, it’s a rib injury – if it’s both sides, it’s the air thinning. Or you could ask Ashley how her breathing is… Jack and Phyllis again trapped in a room to a collapse …. So the firefighter tells Paul that there’s no way upstairs ‘unless you can fly’ but doesn’t think of using a helicopter? Why is the helicopter only a 5 seater? And why is he taking 4 at a time outside when they have to climb one by one up a ladder (which will take most of them a really long time. Wouldn’t sending down a basket be easier? (though I doubt a helicopter would get that close in the real world)
