Neil’s made peace with never seeing his parents again. Mommy, we need you, the twins summon their Mom (and now it’s Neil’s turn to think)

We’re still family, Vikki says as she stands holding her box of stuff. Of course, Victor agrees as he looks out the window – and again declines talking about Luca and Summer. Both need to get back to work. Victor continues to look out the window as Vikki leaves.

Billy has no desire to talk to Cane about who he’s dating – we’re not buddies. Cane agrees – but talks about him and Lily getting back together. Family is what it’s all about – lust is transitionary.

Still at the bar, Jack thinks something’s off with Phyllis – she seems too cautious. Perhaps she’s compromising – coming to her senses, Jill reasons.

Both Luca and Phyllis assure Summer that all is fine. Phyllis is onboard with the wedding. So’s Grandpa, Summer’s happy to report that she wants to get married as soon as possible. Agreeing to help plan the wedding, Phyllis can’t get out of the apartment soon enough – to call Victor. Yes, we’re working together.

Next: At the station, Kevin tells Mariah that he realizes what he wants and how to get it. It’s been staring him in the face this whole time … Chloe! Dylan’s surprised when she answers Chelsea’s door …. You eavesdropping punk, Victor chuckles as he watches footage of Luca peeking into his office from the hallway.

My Thoughts: Of course Summer’s family will attend her wedding – with reservations – just like they did when she married Austin …. If Grandma Jill wants to distract the twins from their weird family tree, why does she keep mentioning it? She’s too old to make petty comments about Genevieve and Jill’s never been the insecure type… I forgot Vikki was even connected to the twins – they certainly aren’t close. Her should be a crab apple. And if Vikki’s included, then Chloe should be too … NOW Vikki’s finally free to make her own choices? … Why would Phyllis need Victor’s help of all people? Is he the only one who can split couples up? It’d make more sense to team up with Sharon … Oh no, no. I can’t think of anything that would make Neil’s quest to find his long-lost parents even remotely interesting. If we’re lucky, they WILL be dead and that’ll be the end of that. Neil’s at least 50, so his parents would probably be mid 70’s. It’d be more interesting if they looked for Malcolm (only if he’s played by Shemar Moore of course) Neil’s been in the same apartment for 20+ years and has been all over the news with the foundation etc. If his family wanted to find him they could. And if Neil’s suddenly all about family, how about paying Moses a visit?
