Cane, Billy and Vikki know that Jill’s moving them around like chess pieces. Yes, she is. Jill wants her ‘dream team’ all fired up to pit CI against Jabot and NE. I’m ready – are you? Vikki stands – she’s in and off to take her last foot out of the Newman camp. Excited, Jill leaves the boys to work.
Victor doesn’t think anyone good enough to marry Summer. But, he’ll always support her and she did him. Thanks Grandpa ~hug~
You can’t stop Summer, Jack likens Phyllis to Jill pushing Billy towards Billy. Summer will either cave or bolt – which do you want? Summer must make her own mistakes. Phyllis finally agrees to guide her daughter down the aisle (but is left to worry about her own situation)
The twins gone, Lily now asks Neil about his parents (whom he always avoids talking about) Neil doesn’t even know if his parents are alive – his kids and grandkids are all he needs.
At the club’s bar, Jill gloats to Jack about her plan to crush Jabot. Hearing that news of Summer’s engagement almost sent Phyllis down a destructive path, Jill wants to hear more.
Phyllis barges in and while waiting for Summer to return, tells Luca that Summer’s first husband wasn’t who she thought he was. Why rush the wedding? It was Nick’s idea, Luca surprises Phyllis.
Arriving at NE, Vikki hears the news and gives Summer a congratulatory hug. Now alone, Vikki knows Victor’s not as happy as he pretends to be – what’s really going on?
Victor claims he’s standing by his granddaughter – she’s free to make her choices (as is Vikki; who’s there to clear out the rest of her things) She looks disappointed when Victor briskly tells her to get her things – you know where they are.
Back at the office, Billy agrees with Cane that Jill’s trying to get him back with Vikki, but it’s too late for ‘what ifs’ – he’s moved on. With who? Cane wants to know.
Nick said what!? He advised Luca to step up. Sure it was when they thought Summer was pregnant (which she will be one day he hopes) We’ll make it together, she’s sure. Summer walks in – what are you saying to Luca?
Jack confides in Jill that Phyllis oddly enough did listen to him instead of sticking to her guns. He was surprised – but not nearly as surprised as he is to hear that Jill knows Phyllis is committed to making her marriage work.
Lily continues to pester Neil about his parents – the twins should know their great grandparents before it’s too late. It already is, Neil thinks. Lily disagrees.
