Nick’s at Top of the Tower to tell his Father that the 500 million has been donated; some will go to orphanages around the world (maybe in recognition of Victor’s rough childhood and a parallel to their rough relationship)

Nikki clears her throat and makes a ruckus until Gloria tells her to take a number – Jack’s out of the office all day. Nikki’s surprised – but don’t worry what Jack and I share; get a life. Gloria has a magnificent life thank you very much. Just the other day she had drinks with Victor. Oh dear, I hope you’re not jealous. No, have dinner this time – it’ll even be on me, Nikki tosses a card on Gloria’s desk.

Gloria follows Nikki to the elevator to see if she’s sincere. Yes, Nikki is – ‘go for it girl’. Victor’s a charming man who can make a woman feel like a queen. Nikki can even give Gloria tips on how to get his attention. You could do worse. Think about it and call me if you’re interested. Gloria hands Nikki her card and walks off smirking.

Nick admits that he did give money to Jack’s foundation to spite Victor – and to make peace. Victor’s impressed and suspects the rest of the family is giving him grief. Shaking hands, the men agree to an uneasy truce.

Jack was with Dina last – so knows she’s done with Graham. No, we have a deep relationship, Graham claims. Dr Hummel comes back to say that Dina can have one visitor at a time. Graham marches off, followed by the Abbott kids. But it’s Graham who pulls out power of attorney papers.

Next: Cane crows to Billy – you’re looking at the acting CEO of Chancellor Industries … Lily approaches Jordan at BnS – there’s something I want to talk about with you. Sure, what? Us, she smiles …. In her hospital bed, Dina has words for Graham. The conversation we had, I remember every word you said.

My Thoughts: Why didn’t the first-responders bringing Dina into emerg. silence Ashley’s frantic ‘we need a doctor’ shrieking? Isn’t the fact that Dina’s being wheeled into the emergency room a clear indication that she needs to be (and will be) seen by a doctor urgently? Shouldn’t the ETM’s have been providing Dina’s vitals to the attending physician as they wheeled her in? How fortunate that Dina’s personal doctor just happened to be loitering in the emergency department. Odd that the Abbott kids think Dina would be released to ‘come home’ anytime soon. And by ‘home’ do they mean by herself to her hotel suite? … Sharon can do all the volunteer work and take all the psychology classes she wants – today was a reminder that she’s still immensely unlikable. What Nick does with HIS money is none of anyone else’s business. Nick doesn’t owe his kids or future grandkids a dime or a living. If they want to follow their hearts and dreams, they can find a way to do so…. Victor owns Top of the Tower but is plopped in a worst table, right in the entrance way and in full view of the elevator. Even Underground has a comfy, VIP booth… I’m not sure if it’s harder to believe that Gloria has friends (who are nurses no less) or that she’d believe Nikki’d be willing to give her tips on what Victor likes. And it’s ridiculous to hear one 60+ woman tell another 60+ woman ‘go for it, girl’.
