Kerry gets so caught up with work that she forgets things. Jack thought they connected over Thanksgiving (then mentions her disappearing) Either you don’t want to date me or you’re playing games. Let me be clear, I’m not interested, he walks out.

Reed decides he should go. Cane agrees and knows he wouldn’t want to distract Mattie from her school work. It’s cool – I’ve got to go anyway, Reed tells Mattie (who’s left fuming at her Dad)

Sharon’s impressed with Lola’s sales for the day – here’s to a profitable winter. Fen then comes in to diss Kyle and tell Lola that he’s a singer (but isn’t above menial work in the meantime) How about a movie tonight? Declining, Lola does have a job for him though – she needs a waiter for a dinner she’s catering. Fen agrees and is even more pumped when he hears the dinner is at Devon’s (GC’s Bruce Wayne)

Chasing after Jack, Kerry was working but admits that it was disrespectful to leave him sitting at the restaurant. She thinks his reaction fair. Her life is complicated and she handled things poorly. I really like you, she asks for a second chance. Jack appreciates the apology (though doesn’t go as far as accepting it) I’ll let you get back to work, he says tersely then steps onto the elevator.

On the patio, Lola’s about to tell Kyle that she can’t go skating with him when Fen appears – you didn’t say what time tonight. What do you want me to wear? Black shirt and pants, Lola explains to Kyle that Fen’s working for her tonight. Oh, skates; cute – I guess you’ll have to find someone else to go skating with, Fen’s quips then heads inside. Lola reassures Kyle that she’ll be bossing Fen around all night – it’s definitely not a date. No, this is what a date looks like, Kyle kisses her as Fen watches.

Back at the Ashby home, Cane and Mattie butt heads over Reed. We have a lot in common, she wishes her Mom was there; she’d get it! Mattie marches off.

Over wine at her place, Vikki comments that she and Billy have been through a lot. He agrees and is glad they’ve managed to preserve ‘this, us’. He doesn’t want Viki to be in denial about her Dad. The police have evidence and he’s gone AWOL. But no, he won’t say anything to Reed. After Billy leaves, Reed appears to confront his Mom. Apparently having overheard, he’s pissed. You lied to me! How could you not tell me that Victor killed my Dad!?
