Adam waiting in the car, Victor is at Nick’s for a private word – to scold him for not responding to his calls and texts. Keeping me at arm’s length won’t make this go away. You have no right to force the issue, Nick scowls. Force what issue? Adam appears to ask. You’re going to meet your son today, Victor announces (which neither Adam or Nick look pleased about)

Billy’s not trying to pressure Vikki but why won’t she make it official? Marriage is no guarantee, Vikki explains. The kids would love us getting hitched, Billy tries again. They’ll love us living together – the rest is window dressing, Vikki decides. Billy thinks something can be said for taking vows in front of family and believes Vikki will change her mind in due time. She won’t rule it out and has no problem throwing a party to announce that they’re back together.

Christian’s here now? Adam isn’t happy that the ‘mystery’ drive ended up at Nick’s (because Victor thinks he’ll remember his connection to his son) Nick is pissed too. Yes, he sees Adam as a threat and this is a monumental thing for me, Adam and Christian; Victor barging in to insert his will is wrong. Adam agrees – Victor went too far. I want no part of this.

On the CL’s patio, Mia asks how Arturo feels about the news. He admits that part of him hoped Rey would be the Father (only because he’s more responsible and experienced) But no more mistakes, Arturo’s ready to be a man; to take care of Mia and their baby. Let’s do this right – go back to Miami. Both will do their best. Time to start thinking about names, Arturo delights Mia.

Rey knows this is the right thing – for all of us. Yes, part of him hurts and he wonders how Mia and Arturo are handling this. We all had a good, honest talk yesterday. It’s good that they’ll have support in Miami. They’ll face challenges – Mia never wanted to be a Mother; Arturo will have to grow up fast. How will you feel if they stay? Sharon asks. Rey thinks it’d be a mistake but is sad that he won’t see his niece or nephew grow up. You can visit – time does help, Sharon’s support is appreciated. Rey then admits that he’s also to blame for the way things went down.

Adam apologizes to Nick – he wouldn’t have gotten in the car if he’d known what Victor was planning. This is very important – yes, to ME, Victor admits – he wants Adam’s memories unlocked. Ambushing Nick in his own home isn’t right, Adam says (which Nick appreciates) Asked to have empathy for Adam, Nick wonders why his Father shows no empathy for HIM. Adam must reclaim his life, Victor insists. Adam doubts he’ll have an epiphany when he looks into this kid’s eyes. Christian’s photo was the only one you didn’t throw out – maybe it was instinct, Victor persists. Adam feels it’s Nick’s decision whether we do this today or not.

Nick carries Christian in – this is your Uncle Adam, my brother. Pleased to meet you, Adam asks a few questions that get no response. It’s nap time, Nick lets Victor give Christian a kiss then takes him back up to bed. So? Victor asks. Sorry, but Adam just doesn’t feel it. Christian was just another kid to him.
