Strolling through the park, Billy suggests a costume gala (and has a few ideas of what they could dress up as) Back up – we’re missing a step, Vikki needs to make sure Billy’s OK with this. Are you onboard? No prenup – no bachelor party – no wedding preparations; Billy’s totally fine with this. We’re on the same page, Vikki’s relieved. All we need is each other, Billy says with a kiss.
Back at Sharon’s, Rey opens up about how he focused more on his job than his wife. You didn’t push Mia and Arturo together, Sharon consoles. I could have been a better husband, Rey wanted to punish Mia for the affair rather than fix things. He should have admitted he left Miami because he wanted separation from Mia. He agreed to work on the marriage when his heart was already with Sharon. Renewing our vows wasn’t fair to Mia. Sharon feels lucky that Mia didn’t realize she was giving up such a fine man ~kiss~
At the park, Vikki and Billy continue to bounce party plans off one another. Vikki notes that she hasn’t even thought about Adam. How about we go get a suite at the club? ~kiss~
Back at the tackhouse, Adam complains about the way Victor orchestrated his meeting Christian – I probably scared the poor kid. He also didn’t like being put in the middle of Victor and Nick’s issues. He drew a line in the sand introducing me as Uncle Adam. Nick hates me because I could take his kid. Billy hates me because I killed his kid. Why did you bring me here? You’re tough, it’s in your DNA, Victor responds – then says he’s going to find Chelsea. Adam’s going back to Vegas – we’re done. Exiting the door Adam holds open, Victor says ‘you’ll regret this’.
Cuddling in bed, Rey thanks Sharon for being so supportive throughout – I hardly ever open up like this. Sharon thinks he’ll be a terrific Uncle and when the time comes, an amazing Father. Faith has been asking to get to know you – are you interested? Rey answers with a kiss.
In a suite at the club, Billy and Vikki clink champagne flutes and exchange I love you’s. A kiss leads to clothes coming off.
Christian’s back down in the living room. Couldn’t sleep huh? Did Uncle Adam make you nervous? Sorry about that. Nick sets Christian up with his dinosaurs and steps aside to read the texts Chelsea sent him in late 2018 and January 2019 (she’d wanted to talk – he didn’t respond)
Bags packed, Adam opens his front door and is promptly shot in the gut by an unknown assailant. Clutching his stomach and gasping, Adam hits the floor.
