Mariah doesn’t believe Theo was involved in Zoe’s plan – he’s too smart – but not smart enough and she doesn’t trust him. Then why are you keeping him on? Devon’s puzzled.

Kevin sent that text from Billy’s phone, Chloe admits – we have him stashes away in a boathouse. It’s complicated – he needs you. Take me to him! Vikki orders.

Adam’s as surprised as anyone that Nikki sent him a text. He’s not there to cause trouble. With Vikki AWOL, Victor can’t wait any longer – let’s begin.

Theo has a high opinion of himself but is insecure, Mariah thinks he’s good at what he does (including damage control at TGP) Devon has confidence in Mariah’s decision-making – let him go if you want. Knowing she’ll have to deal with a lot of Theo’s in this business, Mariah likes the challenge.

Back at CL’s, Theo assures Tessa that he had nothing to do with Zoe sabotaging the opening. If Mariah suspected him, she’d have let me go. Now talking business, Theo can do wonders for Tessa’s career. Someone as talented and beautiful as you should headline a tour. You know I’m gay, right? Theo doesn’t believe in labels.

Victor informs everyone (except Vikki) that his side effects have worsened. He’s beginning to experience the original symptoms of his disease. The treatment isn’t working. Nate doesn’t have enough data to know why. Your Father and I aren’t giving up, Nikki chimes in. She and Victor are flying overseas – tonight – to seek treatment at a private clinic. Nate’s taken leave to join them. When Adam offers to help, Nick snaps – by taking over the company? If Adam’s offer is sincere, Victor has something he can do.

Dude, are you still high from the party? Hitting on me is unprofessional, to say the least, Tessa doesn’t think Theo making a play for his boss’ girlfriend is a good move. She and Mariah are in a committed relationship. Cards on the table, Tessa doesn’t strike Theo as someone who thinks small. I’m not doing anything without Mariah’s blessing, Tessa stands to leave. Yes, of course, she’s talking about business. Think about it – what’s the worst that could happen, Theo says as Tessa exits.

Mariah agrees that Devon hosting Elena’s birthday party at TGP is a great idea. It sends the perfect message – the actions of one idiot won’t ruin the reputation of a great place. She’d be happy to plan the event. Devon wants no drama, no Theo. Talking to Nate is a good idea, he agrees as he leaves Mariah to smile.

Whatever you need – say the word, Adam’s supportive. Victor wants the family vendettas to end; for everyone to get along. You can count on me Dad, Nick assures – then turns to Adam. Uniting as Newmans is what matters. He’ll let everything that’s happened before today go. Sounds great but Adam has no doubt his Father will beat this. He looks down in mild disdain as Victor receives words of support from Abby, Summer, Nick and Nikki.

Tessa rushes to Mariah’s table at Society to tattle about Theo wanting to strategize about her career. He implied that Mariah would be there. When I called him out, Theo claimed that he wanted to impress you by helping with his star client. And did he? Huh? Impress you, in my absence, Mariah clarifies. She’s impressed – it’s a gutsy move. Did Theo throw down any proposals? Actually, he hit on me, Tessa reports. When Mariah chuckles, Tessa doesn’t see what’s so funny. Why do you put up with Theo’s garbage? I don’t trust him – you don’t trust him. Tell him to take a hike, Tessa implores. Mariah’s confident she’s able to handle whatever Theo throws at her.

Bringing her to the boathouse, Chloe quietly and quickly prepares Vikki – Billy doesn’t remember certain things – stealing the car, trying to run over Adam etc. Like when he woke up at the Chancellor Estate? Exactly, Chloe explains that it’s like Billy can’t connect himself to the person doing these horrible things. How did he react when you told him? Vikki asks. Not well – he demanded you be brought here – but when he next woke up he was a completely different person; cold and detached – he didn’t think you’d understand his hatred for Adam. Chloe’s not sure which persona Billy will be when he wakes up – be prepared for anything. Chloe leaves Vikki to take a seat at Billy’s bedside. When he awakens, Vikki gently reassures – it’ll be OK.

You’re a fighter – you’ll overcome this disease, Nikki leads the round of supportive words. Making a spiel about them all getting along, Victor falters before stumbling and collapsing on the sofa. Nate and Adam ease him to the floor as Abby calls 911. We have a doctor here, he can’t get a pulse – please hurry! Everyone panics as Victor lays unresponsive on the floor.
