Faith will get back to her to-do list. She’d rather go clean the grease traps; much less disgusting than talking about her Uncle. Rey then arrives to tell Sharon that he found a bakery who’ll deliver a wedding cake on New Year’s Eve. And he just talked to Adam – to tell him that Billy’s been arrested.

Amanda will now go see about getting Billy out on bail. Not for the first time, Vikki comments (then is left to fill Lily in; Billy was arrested after a bar fight) Lily understands why Billy would have reached out to Amanda; they were close. No need to be delicate, Vikki knows all about Billy’s affair with Amanda (which sure is news to Lily)

Sharon knows Billy wouldn’t be arrested without reason. Is it possible he’s being framed. Rey’s surprised she’s defending Billy (after the article he published hurt Faith) Understanding that Billy just wanted justice for his daughter, Sharon detects that Rey might not believe Billy’s guilty.

They both said they didn’t cross the line, Lily points out. They said the same to me, Vikki confides that one of her Dad’s investigators claims they did. And you took your Father’s word for it? Did you see proof? Lily asks. Vikki doesn’t want to get sidetracked, she’s there to support Billy – if you see him before I do, tell him that Adam’s leaving tonight. He probably knows the person who tried to shoot him is still out there (because it isn’t Billy)

Eager to leave GC, Chelsea didn’t have one headache when she was away visiting Connor. One or two days can’t hurt, Adam says. It can, I’m begging you, get me out of this place, she pleads.

Coming out to glance at her Mom talking to Rey on the patio, Faith gets a text from Jordan (encouraging her to make up a story to come out)

Sharon asks if this new information coming out just this morning, after Adam’s release, is a coincidence. Anything’s possible where he’s concerned, Rey agrees they’ve spent enough time talking about Adam. Sharon thinks it time to move on – you and I have a wedding to put together.

You and Connor are l have left after I cut ties with my family – Adam’s concerned about Chelsea’s health. Yet you had me drugged and kidnapped, Chelsea makes a good point. Adam will go finish packing if Chelsea will relax and get some rest. Now that she knows they’re leaving, Chelsea will (but once alone, does an internet search on her phone – ‘what is fainting a harmless symptom of’?

Jill’s summoned Lily to Society to report that Paul refused to hear her out; the case against Billy is ‘solid’. Help me convince Billy to get on the company jet and out of the country.

Amanda and Billy are back at ChanceCom. Disappointed that Lily’s not there, he tries to dismiss Amanda to make some calls. Not having it, she guesses Billy didn’t go through the security footage for proof that he didn’t leave the building that day – because he did.

It’s true, Billy did leave the building that day – he got a tip that Chelsea was kidnapped so followed Adam; watched him go into a side door of a building – but couldn’t enter because the door was locked. Billy then saw Chelsea walking away. No, she didn’t see me. Lying to the police looks suspicious and lying to your lawyer is stupid.

Billy won’t leave his kids, his family, Lily’s sure. Jill knows she’s right – and can only hope she’s also right about Amanda being a good lawyer.

Chelsea leaves a message for Chloe – Adam and I are leaving and never coming back (she hopes to see her friend) I love you and will miss you, call me. When Adam comes downstairs, Chelsea lies – the doctor called to say she fainted due to low blood pressure. No big deal. Fantastic, we’ll leave tonight, Adam makes her happy.

Back on the patio, Rey’s glad Sharon will finally be able to put Adam out of her mind; since he’s leaving town. Your instincts are telling you Billy’s not guilty, Sharon seems to be the better detective. And that means the shooter’s still out there, she looks around nervously.
