My apologies. I had a work conflict so haven’t seen yesterday’s show yet.

Glad to run into Ashland at Society, Nate tells him that he’s leaning towards accepting his job offer. Clearly, everything is NOT OK with Ashland.

Nick claims he’s just checking in on Vikki. She’s annoyed that he won’t tell her the truth. Joining her parents in her office, Vikki demands to know what’s going on. What are you all keeping from me????

This is Keemo’s house, Jack’s nervous about who/what will be on the other side of the door. Hello? he knocks. Phyllis turns the doorknob – it’s open. Whoever’s sending you the texts wants you to come into your son’s house – it’s not trespassing. You might own this place as next of kin, Phyllis insists they get the answers they came all this way for.

OK let’s do this, Jack now shouts inside the house – hello? Whoever lives here was packing up. Maybe it’s the person who sent the texts. Why was I sent to an empty house? Jack feels like he’s trespassing. Keemo wouldn’t want me here. Phyllis suggests he find a way to connect with his son.

Everything’s fine, Ashland’s thrilled that Nate’s considering his offer. He’s late for a meeting – let’s meet for dinner. Nate still worries – you don’t look or sound fine – I’m concerned, he persists. OK, Ashland can’t fool Nate – he’s experiencing his old symptoms.

Is this just about Ashland being named co-CEO? Nick insists that’s his only reason for coming – he cares. We all care, Nikki chimes in. Victor believes Ashland isn’t feeling well. There’s no need to change Ashland’s title. Vikki has nothing further to say until they come clean. And now she’s going home to her husband. Leave us alone, she slams out.

This is a journey you wanted to make, Phyllis again coaxes him to connect to his son – and find out who sent the text messages. We didn’t fly here not to get answers. Jack wants to know about Keemo’s life, hoping it was a happy one.

Vikki wants to make Ashland her co-CEO!? Nick’s pissed. Nikki’s the only one willing to give Ashland the benefit of the doubt. It doesn’t feel right to keep this from Vikki. Ashland must get what he deserves. Victor gives his word that he’ll take care of everything. Nick hopes so – and storms out.

Back at Society, Ashland admits that he’s feeling fatigued etc. – maybe it’s just a bug. Nate insists he see his oncologist. That’s where Ashland’s going. Nate’s offer to go along is politely declines – Ashland will keep him posted. We’ll do dinner soon. On his way out, Ashland gets an urgent text from Vikki – call me!

At CL’s, Vikki leaves a message for Ashland – she’s worried that he wasn’t at the house. In the foreground, Sharon makes faces.

Still in Vikki’s office, Nikki warns Victor that Ashland is dangerous if backed into a corner – he’s desperate. Victor insists he has a handle on this.
