Pouring Vikki’s coffee, Sharon can tell that she’s worried. No, Ashland wasn’t here. If he drops by she’ll tell him to go home and rest Nick arrives to implore Vikki not to shut him out. Meet me half way on this.

After a tour of the near-empty house, Jack wonders if it was a quiet or boisterous space. Was this Keemo’s favorite place to sit? Going through a box of mail, Jack’s astounded – these letters are to me – from Keemo. He wanted to reach out to you. This box was left for you, Phyllis will give Jack some time alone. No, he wants her to stay.

Vikki has a hard time believing that Nick’s on her side – it breaks her heart that he doesn’t accept Ashland. On cue, he arrives to greet his lovely wife and Nick. We both want you to see how much I love Vikki – I’d do anything to make her happy.

Jack now knows that Keemo had conflicted feelings toward him. He reads aloud to Phyllis then explains that Keemo’s Mom didn’t want him to know that she was sick. Phyllis knows it was hard to keep that secret. Jack reads again – Keemo found peace and changed his name. He’s free of the conflict of being Jack Abbott’s son – I’m on a new path, he chokes up as he reads some more.

Jack continues to struggle with his emptions. Phyllis continues to provide support. Jack’s glad Keemo found forgiveness – the letters were written in the last year – maybe he knew he was dying. Phyllis promises they’ll get the answers.

Nate chats with Victor and Nikki at Society (about Newman Locke) Memorial’s loss is our gain, Nikki’s happy. Victor’s surprised to hear that Ashland was just there. How did he seem? Nate’s spidey senses tingle.

Ashland and Vikki present a united front. Nick claims to support the couple. Let’s all work together, Ashland requests. Sharon whisks Nick off to the patio, knowing he was on the verge of doing something he’d regret.

Phyllis hands over a picture of Keemo with two women and a young girl. And on the back, Vietnam 2012.

Nick’s glad Sharon stopped him from making a huge mistake with Vikki. It’s OK – Dad has a plan. He thinks he can get Ashland out of our lives without Vikki ever knowing the truth. He appreciates Sharon always having his back.

Nate admits that Ashland was a bit under the weather – but it could be nothing. Nikki and Victor are left to debate whether Ashland really isn’t well. She still finds it hard to believe that he lied about his condition. What if Nike’s info is wrong? Victor trusts his lawyer. We need more info before you do anything.

Ashland hopes they got through to Nick. Vikki’s more worried about his health. She’s 100% behind naming him co-CEO. Why haven’t you signed the paperwork yet? Ashland gets a text – all three doctors who spoke to Baldwin have been taken care of. He then tells Vikki that there’s something he needs to tell her about her Father.
