Sharon’s not judging Noah, just trying to understand. He feels like an outsider at NewHope. It’s not my passion. Noah doesn’t want to disappoint his Dad. Sharon encourages him to tell his Dad – he’ll support you; just wants you to be happy. Noah will talk to his Dad after he’s settled in at Newman. He’s not sure what comes next but he isn’t leaving GC. He has too many reasons to stay.

Ally’s practically vibrating as she bursts into the house to tell Traci that her first day at Jabot was exciting – but even more exciting; she’s going on a date with Noah. Shooing her upstairs to get ready, Traci’s left smiling.

Walk out that door and never come back, Nick snarls. Ashland’s doing just that. It was a mistake coming here. After he slams out, Nick rants about Ashland. Vikki changes the subject – how did your recon mission go with Sally? Not as Nick expected.

Ally comes down to ask how she looks – this is one of the dresses Summer forced on me. You look beautiful, Traci’s delighted when Noah arrives and is instantly tongue-tied by Ally. After some very polite chit-chat, the couple races off to eat (Ally’s very hungry) Traci clearly finds them adorable.

Sally fast asleep, Adam frowns and gently extricates himself from the bed.

Nick went to ask Sally if Adam’s serious about leaving Newman. He ran into Adam first – his only concern is that Sally keeps her job. Victor does too (to keep Adam coming back) Nick tells Vikki that Adam wants to meet with her. He thinks you can come to some sort of arrangement. Oh look – Vikki gets a text – Adam wants to meet. Off she goes.

When Traci drops by CL’s, Sharon thanks her for always asking how she’s doing. Both are delighted that Noah and Ally are hitting it off. Sharon then confides that Noah was so lost when he came back from London – we thought he’d found his career path but now she’s not so sure.

Noah and Ally arrive at Society. Oh cool, my Dad and grandfather are here. No need to leave, we’ll get a table far away. When they go over for introductions, Victor’s absolutely charming. He invites them to join them for dinner and when that’s declined he declares ‘dinner’s on me’. Noah squirms when Nick announces the ‘big news’ to Victor; that Noah’s taking over New Hope. Oh, and he’s sent over some matters that need to be handled asap.

Adam does NOT get a warm reception from Vikki. He wants Sally to keep her job. Vikki believes Adam would use Sally to sabotage the company. Adam continues to make Sally’s case. Yes, she’s done things in her past, but her transformation is genuine. Vikki wants people she can trust in key positions. Sally’s loyalty is to YOU. You don’t have to worry about my influence on Sally anymore, Adam says solemnly.

Back at CL’s, Traci understands why Sharon worries about Noah. He’s an artist at heart, his path may be different. She knows from experience – look how long it took me to become a novelist!? Traci says so many nice things about Noah, that Sharon’s almost crying.

At a table about 20 feet away from his dad and grandpa, Noah doesn’t want to talk about his New Hope dilemma. Ally focuses on her menu, Noah looks over at Nick and Victor.

Is Vikki to believe that Sally would put the company before her feelings for Adam? (hell no) That won’t be an issue. Adam’s broken up with Sally – it just wasn’t working out.

Sally’s puzzled to find that Adam’s not in the bed. He’s not even in the suite. Huh.

Back at Society, neither Nick nor Victor have heard from Vikki or Adam. Nick hopes they can come to an understanding. Ashland’s got to go. He’s lost everything and dangerous. We need to warn Kyle and Summer that he’s here.

Rummaging through one of his cardboard boxes, Ashland comes across a ring Vikki designed for him. After flashing back to such a happy time, he starts crying and trashing his room like a 90’s rock band.
