Back at CL’s, Chance gives the same news to Daniel and Summer. Yes, the charges against Diane have been dropped. That’s what you wanted, right? Summer snarls at her brother then asks ‘what will happen to my Mom?’ Chance is sure Phyllis will be found. Chris sees her as the poster child for the rich and powerful breaking the law – she won’t let this go.
Aria asleep, Faith comments that she’s tried to reach Summer but never hears back. She needs time – Sharon’s happy to have all her ladies there and manages to keep her smile in place when lying – nothing unusual has been going on around here.
Cameron zooms in on a photo of Sharon on his tablet and flashes back to decades ago. She warns him not to tell her husband anything. My children are young, she pleads. Tell Nick that you can’t make this dinner. Do I get a little something in return? it’s obvious what Cameron wants.
At the very least, Phyllis is guilty of fraud and obstruction of justice, Chris will also be looking into Stark’s murder and everything that happened with the ambulance/body switcharoo. Kyle needs to find Summer – she must hear this from me.
Daniel’s glad Diane’s free to be with her family. We both are, he adds – but wishes he could say the same of their Mom. Chance will be in touch. That can’t be it! How am I supposed to help my Mom!? Summer’s distraught. Phyllis must come in and provide a statement, Chance can’t really advise Summer but will help if he can (within the bounds of the law, of course)
Nate didn’t go toe to toe with Victor – it was a friendly meeting. He relays everything to Audra. He once did a favour for Victor (when he was his personal doctor) He was furious back then – but he now understands the Newmans better. The only problem is Nick.
Nick’s at the house to hug Faith. They discuss Noah and Ally working in Europe. He opened up a glam club in London – she’s at Jabot’s lab in Paris. When Faith offers to ‘guide’ Tessa’s music career, Mariah shrugs – I can work remotely. A knock at the door wipes the smile off Sharon’s face. Are you expecting anyone? Nick asks.
She’s all yours, Chris tells Chance when he arrives at the house. Kyle and Jack thank him and apologize as he removes Diane’s ankle monitor. She couldn’t be happier. Thank you all for giving me my life back.
On the patio, Summer continues to ream Daniel. Look at what you’ve done – there’s a manhunt for our Mom. She just wanted to get her ducks in a row. Chris is out for blood. Wanting to work together to help Mom, Daniel soon realizes that Summer’s in contact with her. Do you know where she is?????
Nate thinks Nick ‘tenacious’ – he (rightfully) didn’t trust Ashland and he doesn’t trust me. That’s where you (Audra) come in.
Did the baby wake up? While Nick’s distracting the ladies, Sharon sneaks out the front door then back in with a package. The subject now changed to Faith’s cat, Nick watches Sharon with concern.
After everyone leaves, Kyle worries to Jack and Diane about Summer. She left with a big bag for a clothing drive, Diane then thanks them both for their support ~group hug~
You and Mom are two of a kind but sometimes you need help, Daniel wants a chance to turn things around – we need each other, he insists to Summer. OK, she does know where Mom is but doesn’t need Daniel’s special brand of ‘help’.
Diane wants to go out on the town – everywhere – then we can talk about our wedding. Jack likes that ~kiss~
I can help, let me in, Daniel implores. Summer tells him to back off. I swear, if you tell anyone else about this … Kyle interrupts – looks intense. What are you two talking about?
Chance is at Society when he gets a call. The name is Cameron Kirsten. You don’t say.
Putting his tablet down (still displaying Sharon’s face) and his feet up, Cameron looks intently at his lighter’s flame as he’s about to enjoy a cigar.
As Nick and the girls chat about Borgnine, Sharon opens the box of San Eduardo cigars. Inside is a book of matches. Holding them, she gives Nick a look of dread.
My Thoughts: What the hell is Nate thinking? And why is he suddenly putting all of his trust in Audra, knowing how she stoked the fire with Elena?? And if Audra’s so attracted to Nate, why hasn’t she made any moves since she’s got him in her hotel room? Hopefully, she won’t get anywhere with Nick. It would be gross considering Audra only came to GC because she was in love with Noah. It’s a bit odd that she hasn’t had any nasty altercations with Mariah or Summer (and Sharon seems to have no problem serving her at CL’s) … Lily must be having a big case of buyer’s remorse. The ink’s barely dry on her purchase agreement and TGP is no longer the hottest hotel in town? Heck, even the seedy motel is busier… Yeah, Summer – Chris does have a problem with your Mom – she tried to kill her and Paul by running them over! That’s not really something you forget.
