Having been called in last minute, Ben arrives at GCM with Max. Hearing there’s no one to watch him, Ashley volunteers to take him to the lab with her and Simon. But first she’d like to go in and have a word with TGVN. Tearing up, Ashley wants Victor to be the Father Abby deserves – she needs you more than you know. Victor will keep that in mind.
Vikki’s at the head of the table; Abby’s taking notes. Adam’s on speakerphone. Vikki updates the board members on Victor being in stable condition at Memorial. Summer has his proxy. First motion is to remove Victor as CEO. The attendees names are read out (including a couple of unknowns) Nikki addresses the board; the incredible man who created this company has committed unspeakable acts – if he understood the gravity of his situation, he’d step down. As such, we must step in to save our legacy. Accept for Summer’s no (for Victor) and Nick abstaining, all others vote yes; Victor Newman’s day to day role in running this company is terminated.
Chart in hand, Ben tells Victor that this episode seems to be like the last one – it might be stress related. He’ll get Victor back to jail just as soon as possible. Victor doesn’t understand why Ben blames him for Kelly’s death. You used her – you’re as responsible as Jack, Ben says without a hint of anger.
Nikki nominates Vikki as CEO – seconded by Nick. Any other nominations? All look expectantly at the speaker in the middle of the table. As Vikki starts to speak, Adam interrupts – he has something to say…..
Adam assumes nobody’s opposing Vikki’s nomination – congratulations – good for you – it’s been fun? It’s been real. Adios ~click~ As Chelsea hugs Adam, the surprised Newmans decide that maybe Adam knows this isn’t the right place for him. Summer hates that Grandpa’s been kicked out, but makes Vikki’s nomination unanimous. Now all decide to go visit Victor at GCM. Wish me luck, Nikki’s off to try convince Victor this was for the best.

In the lab, Ashley watches as Simon delights Maximillion with ‘rad’ chemistry. Stepping into the office, Ashley thanks him – she thinks of Max as family. And yes, she’s decided to keep fighting – I have a lot to fight for ~hug~
Sage insists the marriage is fine – she and Nick are facing their problems head on and will come out of if stronger. Shawn had this picture of them being perfect. No one’s perfect. But no one in this world will love this child as much as me and Nick.
Still in Victor’s office, Vikki understands why Nick can’t help her run NE. Superwoman’s feeling a bit burnt out right now – it’s over with Billy. He’s been working with Phyllis to get Passkey. He’s been lying for weeks. Vikki shouldn’t have trusted him. Nick’s sure she’ll the company and continue to be a great Mom. You don’t need my help or anyone else’s – it’s your time to shine ~hug~
